The majority of Straughan’s technical staff use GIS regularly to manage databases, collect field data, create maps and displays, and perform spatial analysis.
We are located 20 minutes from Beltsville, which allows for easy communication, travel, and backup support. We have a successful demonstrated history of providing experienced client-based technical staff with GIS and data analysis expertise in the immediate geographic area. Straughan is providing GIS services to USDA-NRCS through five (5) GIS Specialists for the Easement Program Division (since 2020). Our team creates, edits, manages, and analyzes geospatial data to support the management and maintenance of NRCS easements. Our Team is a trusted and reliable support group that has integrated seamlessly with NRCS personnel to quickly respond to questions and requests.
